I was recently diagnosed with a partial at 27 weeks. My doctor is going to monitor it with another ultra sound at 32 weeks. He has not restricted activity at this time. He also said it could move up. I really don't want a c-section but if it doesn't move up, then I will have to have one.

I'm not completely sure about your specific condition, but I was diagnosed with a complete placenta previa at @ 16 weeks. That just means that my placenta was completely covering my cervix when placentas should be above the cervix. I was placed on modified bedrest until @34 weeks. Mine moved up (despite being warned that complete previas rarely resolve themselves) and I was able to deliver vaginally with zero problems.

I know it is easy to freak out, I sure did! Try not to google too much because people on the internet can be CRAZY. Trust your doctors.

Did anyone have a circumvalette placenta? They told me I had one today and would need ultrasounds to "keep an eye on it." But she wouldn't tell me if it was no big deal or meant something bad could happen. I googled at home and it looks like there are a range of outcomes from everything's fine no issues at all to prematurity/stillbirth. So I'm trying not to freak out. I think mine is just partial (she said a part of the placenta wasn't attached, so I'm assuming that means it isn't a complete circumvalette placenta. It sounds like there can be degrees.)

Also my placenta is somewhat low. A centimeter above my cercix. This happened with my first and it moved up. They generally move up right? Did anyone have one stay or move down? I really don't want to end up on bed rest/with a c-section!

Calm my nerves hive!
