@Alba4: No bleeding episodes thankfully. I think many mamas with placenta previa do bleed though.

I had partial previa with marginal cord insertion, meaning my umbilical cord was close to the edge of my placenta and it was on the side closest to the cervix. I was put on pelvic rest and monitored. Luckly the placenta moved up, the cord stayed in a good spot and I was cleared at 29 weeks. No more pelvic rest, never had bleeding or spotting, and I can go ahead with a natural birth.

I had complete central previa diagnosed around 17 weeks. Was put on pelvic rest but not bed rest at that time. I'll be on hospital bed rest starting at 31w though I have a few other issues too.

It will be an early c-sec for me.

Sorry to hear about your previa. I recently started a thread about this because I have a previa. I was on pelvic rest, but not bed rest. I didn't have this with my 1st pregnancy either.

It started slowly moving away at each appointment and resolved itself, but last week at 28 weeks, it started moving back towards my cervix!! Ugh!!!!! It's got 3-4 more weeks to move completely out of the way or it's going to be a c-section for sure for me. It also means early delivery (36-37 weeks).

Here's a link to the thread I started awhile back. Good luck with yours! http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/questions-about-placenta-previas

I didn't have complete placenta previa, but I had significant partial previa.
Were you on modified bedrest and pelvic rest? Nope

Did you have a vaginal or Cesarean birth? vaginal

Did you take a medical leave from work? nope

My friend and my mom both had complete previa that didn't resolve and had to have c-sections

I was just diagnosed with a complete placenta previa today at my 16 week appointment. I'm a little scared and would love to hear from any of you that have it or were diagnosed with it during any of your pregnancies.

Were you on modified bedrest and pelvic rest?

Did you have a vaginal or Cesarean birth?

Thanks!
