It was detected at 21 weeks, and by my 32 week recheck it had moved completely off my cervix. I’m 21 weeks and a partial previa was detected but I also have a history of accreta so there was talk of a c-section and a hysterectomy as a worst case scenario. But it moved by 34 or 36 weeks (can't remember exactly) and I had a vaginal delivery with no complications. Doctor didn't seem concerned. We are going to recheck at 28 weeks and he said 99% of the time it will move up and away. Thoughts are with you! Hers was still there at 28 weeks, but by her 32 week ultrasound it had moved. I have a partial previa right now at 14 weeks, and while they assure me it most likely will move, they also said I'm at high risk for accrata in which case I would have a C-section/hysterectomy at 34 weeks. My Dr was hoping it would move before the 3rd tri because it is unlikely to move a lot after that. I am going to have another RCS but there is talk about a possible hysterectomy (if there is also an accreta) and earlier delivery.</p> <p>Did your placenta end up moving before your delivery? I hope there is still time for me! </p>
