We rented a golf cart for the week and just drove around in that. We ate dinner at like 7 and were in bed by 9:30. We hung out at the pool during the day with the 70- and 80-year olds. We played bocci ball and shuffleboard. I love Lake Texoma...I grew up in the Dallas area. I would kill for a vacation right about now! I didn't get to take any trips this summer, and DH is going on one July 21 and I am so jealous!! We did Florida last year for our anniversary and LOVED it, but I've also been craving New York City. I found a great cabin with a hot-tub that is pet friendly, and right on Lake Texoma (which straddles the border between Texas and Oklahoma). It will be so nice to relax and get away with my two favorite guys!</p> <p>We moved the trip up a week because we saw a billboard for Choctaw casino. Alan Jackson is having a concert there that Saturday, so we will take a short drive over there, do a little gambling, and see the concert Saturday night. </p> <p>I am so excited!! </p>
