My SIL, who is mentally and physically disabled, has a SEVERE facial deformity to where she can't even close her mouth - EVER. That is worth free surgery, imo. Jeez! </p> <p>I don't think teens should be getting plastic surgery - they haven't stopped developing and growing, and also I think it just reinforces the bullies message that she really wasn't pretty enough on her own to begin with. But putting my daughter through unnecessarily, elective surgery would get a big fat no from me. Using that girl as an example, there was a lot of other things we could do together to help her get more confident about her appearance (besides the emotional aspect obviously).
