There are 8 of us in our neighbourhood group and it's nice that we can just walk to each other's houses. It just so happens that the other three moms all have kids 7-9months old, too. We get together about once a week for a few hours and the little ones play while the big kids play!</p> <p>Super lucky. I just passed around a sign up sheet around the class and had those who were interested write down their email. We're part of our local MOMS group and it's just been great! Looking online also helped me to see what groups went to events that I was interested in. When I joined (there was a fee) I had the option to request to be put into a play group with moms of similar age babies. I just googled city's name and mother's club. The playgroups are divided into 6 month age groups. We have several moms with older kids in my play group. They always ask the host if it's ok to bring an older kid. Some moms with toddlers only attend play dates at parks. How do you go about finding this? I would love a group of mom friends to spend time with on a weekly basis. Will it be harder since I also have a pre-schooler along with my month old baby? Im a SAHM so I would just love to find ways to get out of the house for interaction for my kids and me </p>
