DS sat in his crib and played for almost an hour yesterday! I was watching him on the monitor, he was standing, dancing, playing with his teddy. I finally just went upstairs and picked him up, haha

@Artbee and @Stargal - you were right....she fell asleep just a couple minutes after posting this. I was just worried that she wouldn't nap at all, then she'd be a cranky mess.

I've sort of been nap training LO for the past few weeks, putting her down awake and letting her fall asleep on her own. It's been successful about half of the time, usually for the earlier naps. By the afternoon it's harder for her to soothe herself.

This morning she was getting sleepy, so I put her in the crib. She cried for a minute then stopped. I thought she'd fallen asleep but when I look on the monitor, there is she rolling around and babbling to herself. I'm not sure if I should go in and bounce her to calm her down, or just leave her alone. It's been 20 minutes so far. What would you do?
