We have the PBK Carolina table and like it. I was lucky and found the low table with the bins for $30 on a local resale. For the price I paid it's amazing. I keep legos in one bin and duplos in the other. Since we have it on the low setting the table itself kinda blocks the contents from being accessed. My kids are 7 and 9 so I don't really have a worry about small parts. We do puzzles and legos and board games on it. the thing I like the most is the raised lip so things can't easily be knocked off.

Thank you all! We currently have a lower and smaller Melissa and Doug set that is sturdy but with LO3 on the way and my oldest, who is tall, getting into legos and such I want something bigger and taller to ge the little stuff up. I always forget IKEA, it is a bit of a drive to go there but depending what I need for the kids may be worth it.

@Foodnerd81: I had such a hard time trying to decide on one that would grow with DD, especially because she is a tall kid. Pottery barn and land of nod (now crate and kids) list the seat height of their kid chairs, so I emailed kidkraft and compared them. The kidkraft ones I linked were as tall or taller than all the others I looked at (at least, when I did my research, there are some slightly higher ones available now). They also have a much higher weight limit - 105 pounds versus 50 pounds for the pottery barn carolina chairs

@catgirl: those are the chairs I ended up getting, but I just randomly found them on FB marketplace. For the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to search for taller kid tables and chairs. It was either tiny for a 2 year old, full size, or pbk.

We have this set from kidkraft. DD is five and 99% percentile for height but she still has plenty of room to grow with this table. This specific set is taller than most of the others by kidkraft. The surface space of the table isn't as big as the PBK one but it's been big enough for us. When I was shopping I looked at the seat height of the chairs specifically to find one that would last quite awhile.

We got this one from Sams Club for $169 or so. My DD is very tall and this table is perfect for her and she will get lots of use out of it for many more years

We have the PBK Carolina table and like it. I searched the internet high and low trying to find something that was less expensive to no avail. My tall almost 4 year old fits great and shouldn’t outgrow it anytime soon.

We just got a new craft table for our kids form ikea! They had two styles we were looking at that have adjustable height legs so they can grow with the child.

This one is the one I originally wanted but it didn’t quite work in the space we had:
https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/pahl-desk-white-s89128953/

So we ended up buying a table top and adjustable legs. The legs at the lowest height work well for our 4 and 6 year olds. You can buy whatever table top size works for your space. We got the linnmon top and these legs:
https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/olov-leg-adjustable-black-30264301/

This worked well for us. I found most of the kid tables were toddler sized and too low for my 6 year old. And I didn’t want to spend pbk $$$ on something they would be crafting on.

Has anyone found a good size rectangular kids table? Look for a good height for almost 5 yo so probably 2’ high at least. Looking to get legos and stuff off the floor before the baby arrives. I keep looking at the PBK Carolina but not sure if it is worth the money. If I had the space I would just find a dining table. TIA!
