This is basically my life! For some reason DS has gotten into the habit of waking up an hour after we put him down, and it then takes two hours to get him to go down. And he still gets up at 6am even if he didn't go to bed until 10 or 11. Idk what to do about it so I have no advice but I feel you!!

Once I read that if your baby wakes up when you put them in the crib, you should put them back to sleep and then rock them an extra 10 minutes after they are really out before putting them down again. Idk if it would work, but it might be worth a try.

Otherwise, I would totally just bring my baby to bed and then try to put her in her crib after she wakes for her next feeding.

I swore I'd never do it, but this is the kind of situation where I just give in and bring the baby into bed with me. I just try not to make it a habit.

Do you have a baby swing? or a bouncy seat? I would put her in there so that both of you can get some rest until your husband comes home and can give it a shot?? Good luck and feel better!!!!

I have a 10 week old, and she usually is asleep between 8-8:30 with 9 being the absolute latest. Well, she is still awake and going strong! She went down at 8:30 but then woke up crying and wide awake at 9:00. I can get her to fall back asleep but as soon as I go to put her in her crib she wakes up. I've tried leaving her there to fall back asleep, but it's not working, I don't know what to do and I'm starting to get seriously frustrated. I have mastitis with a fever so I feel like total crap already, my husband is at work and will be for awhile so there's no one to help or give me a break, and I work in the morning. Suggestions?
