He's 92. I work in assisted living and truly, 78 is SO young and hip surgeries are typically pretty easy recovery these days, much more so than it sounds. I'm confident she'll be just fine and recover wonderfully. If it helps, my grandmother fell and broke her hip at 89. Aside from some funky side effects from the anesthesia, she recovered very nicely. She's getting ready to go into surgery, and she's 78 so I'm terrified that she won't do well with the surgery. Please pray for her, and for my mom, and my grandpa. </p>
