My niece is 5 extremely tall and still fits into a 5 point harness seat. At 4.5 years old, he's just 40 pounds, so I have him in a harnessed booster.</p> <p>Since we needed a new seat and I couldn't go from the convertible to the belted booster, I went with a combination harness to booster. It converts from a harnessed booster to a belted booster. We have both the Britax Frontier and the Graco Nautilus and we like them equally. Most states still say FF at one is okay. Recommendations are now to RF until at least two.
