@artbee: I made turkey meatballs but they were a little dry. So my husband was having a snack with yogurt when he was trying to feed her and dipped the turkey in the yogurt to make it less dry and she gobbled it up. The cabbage was also his doing after we had a meal with cabbage in it and she really seemed to like the cabbage so when I was out for the day we had all these little meals she could have and he just combined the turkey and yogurt with the cabbage instead of feeding them separately.

I've got to try tofu, we don't usually eat it, but I bet my son would like it in some small cubes. He's really into self feeding, and if the food is too wet, it just makes a mess and he gets frustrated.

Mine is hit or miss, sometimes he'll eat a ton of something and then the next day he'll refuse. Consistently, he eats rice and soup and pastas (any short pasta mixed with marinara or meat sauce - I sneak in veggies like spinach, carrots, onions, celery and peas into the sauce). Recently, we've had luck with mabo tofu - he loves the one from the brand Ajinomoto Cookdo (mild hot). It probably has some MSG but it tastes more homemade than the other ones we've tried, and it's an easy way to get protein into him (lots of tofu and ground pork), and we mince small veggies like squash in too. He will also eat pho or chapjae or any type of noodle.

@Maysprout: how did you accidentally discover that meal?

Lo only eats purees, but there's a fun chicken nugget recipe on pinterest. You boil the chicken and process it, then you can use cookie cutters to shape them into fun shapes, roll them in bread crumbs, and bake them.

This kinda sounds gross and we discovered it on accident but her favorite meal right now is homemade plain yogurt, turkey and bits of cabbage.

@looch: oh good, hope you like it! i can't wait to make it again. i have found that the mixing it all up trick does work a lot of the times. but other times i feel like it back fires on me. this weekend i mixed in BBQ chicken with brown rice and for good measure threw in some peas. the peas really seemed to offend her for whatever reason so then she wouldn't eat any of it. oh well, can't win them all ....

@Andrea: I am going to try that chicken and wild rice casserole.

I've noticed lately that my son prefers to have everything all mixed up together. Last night I made a beef stew with mashed potatoes and he ate about a tablespoon of beef and a half cup of mashed potatoes. Had everything been better incorporated, I feel like he wouldn't have spit out so much of the meat.

Lately my LO will eat anything with rice. So last night it was beef stew with rice.

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/old-time-beef-stew-recipe/index.html

Before that I made this:

http://www.southernplate.com/2012/01/chicken-and-wild-rice-casserole-and-becoming-the-crazy-daffodil-lady.html

It seemed like it would be really rich with the cream of soup but it actually wasn't. My daughter LOVED it.

Does Charlie eat rice and ground beef? I have had success with rice and ground beef stuffed peppers with a bit of parmesan and rice and brown lentils, cooked together with some carrots.

I make chicken noodle soup for my LO.
Celery, onions, carrots (chopped)
1 lb chicken (breast or thigh) chopped.
Egg noodles

I'm bad with recipes. I just throw things together.

I'm tired of making the same things over and over again. I need some new ideas for quick, easy, tasty!

I usually make porridge and seaweed soup for Charlie. Those are his favorite foods, and he will only eat soup + rice in large quantities.

Please share recipes or provide links to recipes?

I mostly cook korean food but some things I've made in the past that have been hits include:

broiled tilapia parmesan - http://allrecipes.com/recipe/broiled-tilapia-parmesan/detail.aspx

sauteed portobellos + spinach - http://allrecipes.com/recipe/sauteed-portobellos-and-spinach/detail.aspx
