Once DS was 6 months I didn't worry as much. I do think germs will help the immune system, but I also don't like to take risks with DS. I was LIVID when DH left DS with FIL when he was sick for 30 minutes to run an errand. Sure enough DS got sick! I think he was 8 months old, but taking care of a sick baby is no fun. He just came over and decided to touch LO's face. I asked him to stop touching him but he just ignored me! So I totally flipped out- I asked him where has his hands been and reminded him that LO is a BABY. Then I proceed to wipe LO's face and hands with baby wipe. He ran away and everyone else around us got quiet. I just don't know why people refuse to respect our personal space. Even though it's church and I understand they just want to be friendly- but please just do not touch my baby with your dirty hands!!!</p> <p>Ahh! Any suggestions on what to do? We already hang hand sanitizer on our stroller and normally people uses them before touching LO, but a lot of the times there are rude people like him that just refuses to respect our wishes!
