@Thrifty Mama: Great, thank you! And it didn't even occur to me that there are entire web sites for this sort of thing! :silly:

@FaithFertility: A helium balloon? That sounds like a lot of fun!

DD LOVED a big balloon tied to her foot at that age, she would kick kick kick, I would switch legs and watch her figure out to kick the other one!
All being monitored of course ;)
P.S she loved any balloon with a big face!

An exersaucer at that age is the perfect toy! Especially if he has good head and neck control. DS used to love his :) He's now 13 months, but when we was younger, I used to take him on walks, and do activities by age on this website: http://www.babycenter.com/0_lets-play-weekly-activities-for-your-babys-first-year_1501475.bc#articlesection7

DS is 10 weeks old and starting to engage with his "gym" and kick/bat at things. We go on walks, practice tummy time, and I read books to him...but I'm struggling to figure out what else we should be doing during the days (I don't go back to work for a few weeks yet).

At what point should he be big enough for an "exersaucer" or jumper? He has pretty good head/neck and trunk control!

Where did you go and what did you do with your little baby? Bonus points if it's "safe" during the coming cold & flu season!
