We have a graco one that also grows with your child. My son refused to sit on the high chair soon after turning 2. My daughter gave up the high chair even earlier at a little over a year. It's now just sitting at our kitchen table and they'll use it for fun once in a while. LO quit using it altogether by the time he was 2yo, so I wouldn't be inclined to buy anything more expensive, especially because the FP one held up nicely, the tray was dishwasher-safe, and it was easy to clean. It converts as your LO grows, and in the end you can even use it as a sort of stool/seat as an adult, so spread over time, it's not really expensive at all :D (I can justify anything, but this chair is great).</p> <p>The one and only complaint I have about it is that the tray has a very low edge/rim, so food/bowls/things are easily pushed/thrown off the tray by LO's moving food around. </p> <p>Other than that though, the chair is EASY to clean, is very streamlined looking and is great quality. However, all the ones I found were totally gross or broken. When I thought about it, I realized that DS is going to use it 2-3x/day for 4 years, and then future LOs will use it 2-3x/day also. It will be one of the few baby items that actually gets a ton of use over numerous years. So, you might as well splurge on the one you want! We used 20% BBB coupon, so it was $200. Then we had gift cards for the rest. But I don't regret the decision at all. We love it!! Put the felt protector on the bottom so we can slide around the hardwoods so it isn't the way.
