Hell yeah!! They told me I was having contractions this whole week, when I thought they were Braxton hicks. They feel like menstrual cramps. My midwife is excited with glee about 1cm and 70%, so I think yours sounds even better! And that's without you even being induced! I think.m you're gonna go soon! Oh yeah, she said she's more concerned about effacement. You can get the cervix diated with birthing ball, squats, and walking much easier than effacement she said.

With my first, I did start getting that pressure toward the last week. With this one, I'm only 20 weeks and unfortunately, baby is very low and I have tummy troubles that make it so I feel that pressure all the time already. I know that's not helpful, but if I had to guess yeah it's a sign you're getting closer if it just happened. No matter what, you're 38 weeks and close!

I went to my last spot on Tuesday and I was 37+4 (I'm currently 38+1) and at the appt I was 50% effaced and 3 cm dilated! I have been doing a lot of walking and now today my way lower back is just killing me, feels like constant pressure on my tailbone. And my hips are killing me, feeling like there's just constant pressure pushing down, I can hardly walk.

But no contractions. At least none that I can feel. Is the constant pressure/back pain an indication that I'm really close?! Or just something I may have to live with for 2+ weeks?!
