For us no nap days started at maybe 23 months occasionally. Around 27 months no nap became more frequenting I started putting him down a bit later (130). By 31 months he napped about 50% of the time and again was napping g a but later (2) and by 34 months was done with the nap completely :(

DD (27 months) also will have a random day like this (sometimes I think maybe she fell asleep in the car for 5 minutes and then she's fine?!) and I just leave her in there.

my LO is about 27 months and has gone through at least a couple of phases where he went without naps on weekends (he naps at daycare during the week) for a few weeks in a row. the last time was about a month ago, and i really was worried he was ready to drop his one nap. luckily i was wrong.

My nearly 3 year old sometimes goes a few days (up to a week once!) without a nap, but so far she always goes back to it. A friend told me her daughter (the same age) once went for about 3 months without napping, but she's gone back to it as well. I think the key is to insist on at least an hour of "quiet time" in the crib/bed, no matter what...even if it means letting them look at books or play with a doll or something to keep them there. Good luck!

It will pass! We go through phases where naps are harder and she skips them occasionally then she goes back to normal. This is why I pushed her nap time back by half an hour though- I have had fewer skipped naps and it takes her less time to fall asleep since I starting putting her down half an hour later.

Keep trying. My 3 year old has gone through several phases of a day or two not napping. But he always ends up making it up with a 3 hour nap the next day. It probably won't be he last time she tries to keep herself awake. There's just way too much fun to be had!

It's happened occasionally for us. Then she gets tired and goes back to napping.

I left E in her crib one afternoon for THREE AND A HALF HOURS before she finally fell asleep. it was BIZARRE. She just played with her animals and I figured, whatever, it's quiet time

My dd (2.5 though) has been doing this awhile but as long as she's ok in the crib I leave her for awhile. She's starting to be ok with no nap but for a long time even just being alone and quiet in her crib helped her mood in the afternoon/evening.

So today at 19 months LO had her first no nap day. I don't get it...she regularly sleeps at least 2hrs in the middle of the day, but today it was like she wasn't even tired. I left her in her cot for 2hrs, but she just alternated between rolling around and sitting up looking around talking to herself!

It has been taking her a while to fall asleep for naps recently but at least she has always eventually napped before! I thought she would be miserable the whole afternoon...but she lasted until bedtime with no drama!

Please tell me this will pass! I SAH and I'm not ready for no nap yet!
