DH gets it fairly often because of his asthma but most recently he got Costochondritis. I hear they are pretty similar. DH had to get pain meds. It honestly took a couple weeks to a month to feel better even with a vicodin prescription! I feel for you having a newborn, try to rest as much as you can and take advantage of all.the help you have! I started noticing a mild pain behind my left rib a couple days ago and last night it got really bad. I went to a 24 hour clinic and was diagnosed with pleurisy after they ruled out a pulmonary embolism. 😕 The doctor told me he would normally prescribe a steroid but couldn't because I'm breastfeeding so he gave me a prescription for Tylenol 3. If you've had it how long did it take to feel better? It's hard to take care of DD when it hurts to take a breath. Fortunately I have lots of help because my mom is still staying with me and my MIL will be here tomorrow when my mom leaves and DH is home since it's the weekend. This is definitely worse than my PP recovery so I'm hoping it's short lived. </p>
