@psw27: Totally true for me too.

My period held out forever after #2 (I think I got it back around 15-18 months), so I feel like it's making up for lost time  Some days it's so terrible I almost, almost want to just have another baby to avoid my period for another year or two.. (I kid, kid).

The whole thing is way worse after baby #2 for me. Worse cramps, worse moods, longer lasting periods. It's all heightened for the worse. I think some of it is getting older too. Sadly, I've heard it gets worse until menopause.

@graceandjoy: I agree- I’m also more in tune for sure. And it only took two cycles or so before I realized it’s pms and not pregnancy. Before that I totally bought a pack of cheapo pregnancy tests for when I felt weird :silly: (and I’m on mirena)

100%. Not so much that I think I'm pregnant every month, but I think either symptoms are stronger, and/or I am just WAY more in-tune with my body after 2 kids. While TTC-ing for #1 I remember I couldn't tell when I was ovulating, no clue about my cycles, etc. Now without doing anything, I can tell when I'm ovulating and when I'm about to get my period (which helps b/c it's irregular).

Yea, I basically think I’m pregnant every month. I downloaded one of the free period tracker apps (Eve) so I can look back at previous months and see if what I’m experiencing is par for the course or something else. I’m actually going to try CBD oil to help with PMS symptoms because I now get super ragey and I’m not ready to go on medication to treat it all the time. I didn’t used to get ANY emotional PMS symptoms before DD2.

@Meadow I don't know, I was talking with friends about it and it's a pretty common experience.

Through the roof! It's kinda hellish. My PMS emotional crash is almost to the point of needing medication or something, every month is a struggle.

Yes- my boobs swell and are so so tender for over a week. And I have mirena so I hardly even get a period. But they hurt.

I feel like I’m always in a bad mood, where being irritable used to be my main pms sign. Now that’s just my personality. But the sore boobs are new.

I feel like I have WAY more noticeable symptoms leading up to my period when compared with before kids / TTC.

... Symptoms that make me nervous that I am pregnant almost every month. DH are not TTC but could be doing a better job with birth control. (Once upon a time, DH agreed to snip snip....) I wind up super stressed out for a week-ish scared that I might be pregnant.

What gives? Before kids, I knew my period was coming because I would get some cramps. Now, my boobs swell (and get tender) and I get super tired.

Does anyone else think their "symptoms" are stronger? More similar to pregnancy post having kids?
