I had it last year &amp; it took 10 days before I could walk up the stairs without needing to sit down because I was seeing stars. It was pretty yucky. Hope you recover faster than I did!</p> <p>I could very well be wrong, but my understanding is that pneumonia is an infection from the fluid festering in your lungs from a cold or flu, like an ear infection. So while you can spread germs that caused the initial illness that led to pneumonia, I didn't think you could spread pneumonia itself, just as you can't spread an ear infection. So I would try not to stress out too much about infecting other people because the illness that led to you developing pneumonia is probably long past being contagious. Anyways anyone ever had pneumonia? How long did it take you to start feeling better? Feeling pretty yuck and feverish tonight. </p>
