All he wants are packs with an EX or a Mega EX. Where I am, a tin of cards that has a guaranteed EX runs about $20. Those stupid Mega EX boxes are like $50!</p> <p>I think they are all "compatible" but XY might be newer since those are the latest cartoons. My son doesn't really play the game. I read that XY is the new evolved packs and if I'm not mistaken, are compatible with the EX packs. Does anyone know what the "in demand" set is? Are the ones in tins (with an online code for a deck?) better than the box sets without the tins (no code?)? So many choices ... </p> <p>I love abroad, so some of the sold out sets may be available where I'm at. </p> <p>Thanks so much! I don't know why I waited so long to look this stuff up. </p>
