We plan on doing the Polar Express ride, but not for another 2-3 years and it's not that far a drive for us since my parents live an hour away from there. Like stay at a hotel that night--let her go swimming in the hotel pool and have a fun night away as a family. Then, maybe get up and do breakfast &amp; go Christmas shopping before you head home. We do something similar every year. We go to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens. It's only an hour away, but we make it into a little Christmas-themed overnight trip. We make sure to get an ornament every year to commemorate our little trip.
