I felt so bad ....who wants to clean up 5-year-old poop?! They were deep in the forest and he couldn't hold it apparently but I should write a note to their teachers. One of his daycare providers got him cleaned up and changed but I had to leave work to come pick him up. Based on the bag of clothes I was handed (and promptly three away) it was a big mess that included his change of clothes too.</p> <p>I was apologetic and said thank you but I'm wondering if I should do more. Flowers? A gift card? Or is that weird? I wouldn't have done anything if the accident happened at preschool but I feel like this is outside of expectations for K-5. </p>
