A pediatrician suggested that as it makes it veeeery difficult to withhold. Atleast that's what I've gathered from asking friends and family who have recently potty trained. My 2.5 year old went from being an everyday pooper to every couple of days. But she goes when she needs to and knows where to go. And I leave it at that. I was going to be gone for a couple hours so I made the mistake of giving her a suppository and she went!!! But also went an hour later and made a giant mess when I was gone. So I'm taking a step back and just letting her do it when she needs to. She's in undies full time and hasn't had a poop accident since. She will just poop in undies and carry on with her day or hold it in until she gets a diaper for nap. I'd just back off with poop and let her know if she needs a diaper to poop that's okay. Today is day 3 of no poop. She had pear juice, prune juice n lots of water. But man this girl has stomach of steel. I feel bad for her but don't want to go back to diapers. </p>
