Omg. So he's been constipated for months because he was dehydrated from my lack of supply. I could cry. Poor kid.

my LO is drinking half bm half formula and yup it looks like green mush. depending on how much solids she eats sometimes it's firmer and not so mushy. when my LO had diarrhea it was more like watery poop. (like adults i guess? haha tmi sorry!)

@MrBee: Thanks! I've seen that before but thought it was geared towards older kids and not infants? He is still getting 4 bottles a day.

@MamaChin: The Bristol Stool chart was really helpful to us when we were dealing with changes in stool:

What does a normal formula fed, solids eating infant poop suppose to look like?

I am curently weaning, doing half bm and half formula for the past several days. N is 8.5 months and has been eating solids for 3 months with no allergies. I've refrained from adding new things in his diet since starting formula, but I've noticed his poop changing. It used to be logs, like adults, he never seemed to be straining when he went. Now it is mushy, like peanut butter? Was he constipated before (my supply had been dwindling) or having diarrhea now?
