Ohhhhh no. That's awful. I'm so sorry that's how your morning started.

One time I had to cut LO out of a onesie, because it was the only way to make sure there wouldn't be poop EVERYWHERE.

@lovehoneybee: I have a poop story from this morning. I was up late last night doing some work so I needed to snooze this morning. I let LO play on the floor with some musical toys in the room while I stayed in bed. It was suddenly very quiet. I opened my eyes and sitting on the bed was my naked toddler, holding out her fingers to me saying, "Ewww nasty!" Of course there was poop on those fingers. I jump up out of bed because I realize that her naked poopy butt is on the covers. I pick her up and there is a big poop smear on my husband's side of the bed, I wipe it the best I can with a wipe. I then get a diaper and clean her booty and put a new diaper on.

She had taken off her pjs and her poopy diaper (she's been taking off dirty diapers lately). Her diaper was on the floor and so were two little poopy footprints, while the potty was also there, nice and clean.

Ha! I think that story takes the cake! I just love your comment about how it didn't really even faze you.

A week or so ago, DS was on antibiotics and the first night we saw one of the side affects in action. After his bath, I threw him in his crib for a second so he couldn't run away and saw him poop all over and then step in it. DH and I were trying to get him cleaned up and put him down afterwards. He then proceeds to pee on his rug and then take a step forward and pee on DH's foot. The ran to the hardwood part of his floor and back onto the rug to poop some more. Now, DH hates cheese for no good reason and I was laughing that he is more disgusted by DS offering him a piece of string cheese than he was by the poop-splosion!

@cmomma17: I hear you on the solids poops-- so gross. DH and I both frequently wonder how so much evil can come out of our sweet baby. But I'm happy when she does it first thing in the morning because DH gets her out of bed and changes her usually :)

@lovehoneybee: I'm sorry, that is no way to wake up. I would bring you Starbucks if I could. You threw away the pajamas... right?

@cmomma17: I think the same way too. LO hasn't poop slept in awhile. He did poop before going to bed the other night. I was reading to him. He kept saying "caca." I didn't believe him because sometimes he cries wolf on it. I sniffed his butt, went to look, and changed him before going to bed. He pooped in less than a half hour in that diaper. I think I read 8 books to him that night.

@Foodnerd81: I have *no* idea how he slept through it! He woke up once, at around 5, but just cried out once and was back asleep before I had even gotten out of bed (I'm guessing he woke up without his pacifier and immediately found it).

@lilyann: We CD'ed when he was an infant, and I can only remember one blowout, when he was 3 weeks old, and that was it. This must have been a big batch of karma catching up with me!

Yuck!!

R pooped this morning when I first got her up. I think it was fresh since her bum gets red when it sits in her diaper. Then after her bottle she was doing a little dance, so I unsnapped her jammies to peak in the diaper, and I stuck my finger nail in poop. So it was under my nail. Gross!

@cmomma17: LOL! I look forward to the poop in the mornings b/c then he'll be mostly done by the time we go out for play dates or just go out! Most places don't have changing tables anywhere out here in Asia... SO not kid friendly yet kid friendly. It's really weird!

I've found poop rolling around in a fleece footed PJs a few times. I hear ya... But I still get reeeeally grossed out by poop that doesn't stay inside the diaper. Fortunately, it doesn't happen often but still. My dog is 13 and frequently accidentally leaves a little round poop in her crate b/c she can't hold it the way she used to. My oldest needs his butt to be wiped, my youngest is still in diapers and has at least two poops a day. I'm around poop all day long... yay!

OMG.

We are still adjusting to solids poop and some days are just epically gross. I get so excited when LO doesn't poop first thing in the morning because that means someone else will get to deal with it while I am at work! :)

Or why my toddler is taking a bath before I've had any coffee.

Sorry, I just needed to share.

Last night I wasn't feeling great so D got E ready for bed, and put him in pajamas that were too big for him.

This morning, when I got him out of bed, I realized that there was a big squishy lump below his knee. Hmm, I thought. That's odd.

He had STTN last night, so no middle of the night diaper changes. And he pooped and peed A LOT. So much that the front of the diaper ripped open and, not having the normal snugness of well-fitting pajamas to hold it in place, traveled down a pant leg, complete with a ton of soft poop, which went completely down both legs and up his back and stomach. Up his chest and back to his neck. I don't even know how....

And of course, in even getting his pajamas off I ended up with poop on my hands, my arms, my shirt, and the darling kid grabbed a piece with his hands when I was bent over and grabbed my ponytail.

Did I mention I haven't had any coffee yet?

Oy.

And I know I've been a parent a while because I was honestly unfazed. Annoyed about the poop in my hair, but otherwise unfazed by it.

But really, I am so over poop.

Anyone else want to share a poop story so I feel better?
