At that age we tried to let him cry 15 mins. I also found if we responded the first time he would wake up again. Whereas if we did not respond to the first cry he would sleep a long stretch. Sucks I'm sorry! I just stayed consistent; we did pick up/put down sleep training and eventually he just.. didn't. No quick fix but also no tears. Baby sleep sucks. Damn. Time. </p> <p>Clearly this is a habit, but I have no bloody clue how to break him of it! His cries escalate after 10 minutes of waiting, when I pick him up it takes 10 minutes to quiet him down, and if I leave him in the bed and soothe from the side he gets madder. </p> <p>I guess I just have to ride it out. </p>
