@Cherrybee: wonder weeks were usually spot on for my LO, but I don't think that one lasted six weeks! Hopefully there's a light at the end of the tunnel for you!

@Foodnerd81: Those pesky wonder weeks! Every time she starts acting like this, its a wonder week! This one can last up to 6 weeks - agh! Im glad C is feeling better.

No advice, just commiseration. My LO hasn't been feeling the best either, teething followed by a virus followed by me getting sick :(

Hang in there!

Oh poor E! C has been off lately too-- I guess it's the same wonder week. For a few nights in a row she'd go to sleep like normal, then wake up a couple ours later screaming her head off-- not the normal MOTN wake up of fussing then escalating to crying, just started with the scream. It was so so sad and nothing seemed to help. Then last night-- she STTN and woke up happy.

So I have no advice but I hope it's a quick phase and that she feels better soon! Poor baby.

Oh lordy. E has been poorly for 3 weeks now. It started with a dry cough that kept her (and us) up all night, night after night. This lasted for two weeks and then, last weekend, she came up in a rash. We took her to the doctor who said it might be measles, it might be scarlet fever, it was probably just a random virus and then gave us antibiotics! Absolute rubbish! The rash has gone now but the cough is worse and she also appears to be full of cold now, too. She can barely breathe when she lies down and is such a sad little baby..... off her food, the occasional temperature, tired but can't sleep, crying a lot....

In addition, she's teething (she biting crazily on her toys) and she has recently started moving around in her crib - cue freak outs when she rolls onto her front or spins round, banging her head on the cot bars. She desperate to crawl - I don't think that's helping her sleep any, either. Then yesterday, she was so clingy (very unlike her) I got out the wonder weeks book and sure enough she is in a stormy period. Sigh.

I don't know what the point of this post is. I guess I just needed to sound off. I'm so, so tired. DH is also really tired and we are getting snappy with each other. I really, really need her to get well now. Sigh.
