Most neighborhoods are pretty walkable that are close in. OMSI is very cool. The Children's Museum and zoo are in the same parking lot. It is for sure a good city. I like going to food cart pods. They loved the OMSI, Multnomah Falls and the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm (may be closed now since the tulips are probably not blooming anymore). We were planning to check out the Oregon Zoo, but it rained that day. Other places to visit are the Portland Children's Museum and maybe the Rose Garden. </p> <p>Food was delicious there. Salt &amp; Straw, Pok Pok (if you like ehtnic Thai food), Southpark Seafood (best clam chowder I've had), and Tasty N Alder were our favorites.</p> <p>We stayed in Downtown Portland at the Paramount Hotel. We rented an airbnb in the Sunnyside neighborhood. I really liked Salt and Straw for ice cream and Blue Star Donuts. The OMSI museum was great with the kids. I would start looking for accommodations now. We haven't been before so where would you recommend staying (area wise) and recommendations for things to do, must try restaurants etc? We are travelling with a 5 and 2 year old, and I will be 25 weeks pregnant. </p>
