I found out at my anatomy scan. That's the only ultrasound I've had this pregnancy, and I'm almost 33 weeks!

I found out at 15 weeks. Since we opted out of our NT scan, they let us come in a couple weeks later for gender.

I found out long before my anatomy scan although I don't recall what week. My OB did ultrasounds at every appointment so it was at one of those - I'd guess 12 weeks.

I found out at my 20 week scan. It wasn't pointed out to me, the u/s tech just mentioned it. I kind of knew it wasn't anterior since I felt movement very early.

Last time I didn't find out until anatomy scan at 19 weeks and I didn't even really know what it meant until later.

This time I found out at the NT scan at 12 weeks because I asked. Curiosity as far as when I could expect to feel baby movement.

My anatomy scan is scheduled for 18.5 weeks and I plan to ask then, if the info isnt offered. I havent felt any movement yet at all (just 18 weeks tomorrow) which I guess can be normal but I am curious about the placement!

I found out at 14 weeks, when I started having transvaginal ultrasounds every other week. It's anterior and slightly over my cervix. Keeping everything crossed that it moves! And I felt kicks by this time in my last pregnancy, wish I could feel them now.

I found out when I asked the OB about it. I know my OB mentioned that the placenta was on the side.

There was another appt where they said I had an anterior placenta and that could be the reason I didn't feel any movement early on. I was under the impression that my OB isn't worried about placenta position until closer to delivery. She said the babies (or placenta) could move by then. She did say that placenta previa where it is blocking the birth canal is when she'll be concerned.

I found out (more or less) at my NT scan, so between 11-13 weeks. At my last ultrasound (at 9wks4days) the tech said it was a bit early but it looked like it would be anterior again, which makes it 3 for 3.

When did you find out about the positioning of your placenta? I see so many posts about having an anterior placenta, etc., but when did you find out? Is that something always determined at your anatomy scan?
