I used to get a surge at the end of my cycle, so my OPKs would get positive even though I was not pregnant.

@Tidybee: I went to Google after posting and found that. Took an htp with the same fmu and negative :( Both opk and htp are the cheap Internet kind from the same place, so I assume they'd have the same sensitivity.

@travellingbee: yep, I think my hormones just haven't got into the swing of things!

I've heard some women do have a short LH surge right before AF. Also sometimes pregnancy will show up on a OPK. Or you could be ovulating late! I'd say take a frer and find out!

Eta: I just noticed you said second cycle PP. Your hormones can still be all wacky too...mine took a while to settle down.

Opks sometimes pick up hcg and a positive opk could also suggest a positive pregnancy test. I'd pick one of those up ASAP!

I'm on CD32 and we were being laid back this month and not really tracking. Second cycle PP and still BF once a day, so who knows what's normal for me.

I thought I ovulated last week cause I saw lots of EWCM. Well I got a little pee stick crazy and tried an OPK yesterday: almost positive. A few hours later: negative. This morning: definitely positive.

I have pretty much no CM and my cervix is firm/closed. I can't be ovulating can I? Is there an LH surge right before AF?

Thank you!
