@Cherrybee: I have my FF set to the default/recommended setting, which is the "Advanced" method.

I don't know the length of my LP yet, because this is my first cycle paying attention!

Oh man I hope it's an implantation dip, that would be awesome. My expectations are not very good though :( I hope I see a rising temperature in the next few days.

It depends on which setting you have it on I think. If you have it on the setting that looks at temps first and foremost it will look for three consecutive temps higher than your temps beforehand. I'm not sure if it works out an average or what!!! if you have it on the setting that looks at CM, it gets really confusing (I was rubbish at checking CM!!).

Looking at your chart, I think you did O when FF says you did. You had the right CM and your temp did dip then shoot up. How long is your luteal phase usually? If it's usually 14 days, then the dip in temps don't mean much - unless it's an implantation dip of course (the timing's right!). I'm sure your temp will pop back up above the coverline in the next couple of days. Remember, one temp means nothing - it's the pattern that means something.

I think you've O'd based on the slightly higher temps and your CM + OPK data. They say that if you don't have much of a shift you may have a progesterone issue. Either way, this is exactly why I hated temping, too much to worry about!

@Cherrybee: I've done my best to consistently take my temperature, before getting out of bed, before fully waking up and around the same time every morning (within 7:00-8:00am). The empty dot on 5DPO is there because I indicated "sleep deprived" that day (I was up most of the night with a headache), although I did wake up 7:45am after sleeping 4 hours. I slept through most of that day (still experiencing congestion/headache) and all through that night, and the next morning (6DPO) I woke up and took my temp early (6:45am).

This morning (7DPO) I also woke up early (6:55am), hence another clear dot.

Before "O" though, my temps are equally sporadic, even though my time taking them was more even. I just have no idea what is going on o_O lol I hoped this would help me get a better idea of my fertility and instead I'm even more confused!

Have you been taking your temperature at the same time every day, before you get out of bed, before you have a drink of water and after a consistent night's sleep?

Remember, FF is just a computer program. It takes the data you have given it and predicts what is going on in your body. It does not determine what is happening in there.... so nothing FF can tell you will mean that there is no chance you are currently pregnant. We just need to get to the bottom of these temps!!

@Mrs Green Grass: I think my coverline is rather generous, looking at my temps before my supposed "O"... To me my temps look basically the same all the way through.

I haven't been chart reading in awhile, but because those 5 temps are above your cover, it looks like o. I'd expect your temp to come back above the cover line next time. Some people do have an implantation dip, but it's not super common. GL!

Here is my chart for reference :
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/pui

As you can see, FF had marked with crosshairs that I O'd on CD19. I had a positive OPK the day before. However as you can see, there is no defined temp rise after O. I got one slightly higher temp than before O and 2 temps below the coverline. I am only 7DPO.

Is it unlikely that I O'd? Is there no chance I am currently pregnant?
