We also were looking for a house when I was pregnant. It's stressful! We had an offer on a short sale so it took forever for them to get back to us, and then the inspection didn't go good.... but we ended up being able to get it. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant when we moved. We were living in a different town where we own our home but we relocated back to our hometown in January so that we can be closer to family and for job opportunities. Since we moved back we’ve been house hunting while staying with my FIL and trying to rent out our other home. </p> <p>We’ve had a lot of trouble finding a house in our price range that’s in the good school district of the area (there’s a HUGE different between the good school district and all others here) that wouldn’t need a ton of work in order to be move in ready. We finally found a house that fit all of our criteria on Monday. It is perfect….just down the street from the elementary school, within walking distance to major stores, in a good neighborhood where I would actually feel safe jogging with the baby, house is move in ready with a huge backyard, etc. Unfortunately we found out that an offer had been made on it to which the bank had submitted a counter offer. So basically as long as the potential buyer agreed to the counter they’d be pending escrow and the house would be off the market.</p> <p>We were in a complete slump after finding that out until….our real estate agent called me this morning and the counter wasn’t accepted so the house is still available! There are no other offers and the seller really wants to get the house sold. We’re going to submit an offer this afternoon and I’m hoping this is IT! Being in limbo and so unsettled at 5 and a half months pregnant is really starting to wear on me and both DH and I are dying to be in a place of our own again!</p> <p>Soooo good thoughts, prayers, pixie dust…any and all would be appreciated :) </p>
