@JennyG: also, do you know your Rh status? If you are negative or don't know, make sure you report bleeding to your OB right away so they can get you a shot of need be. Fingers crossed though that this pregnancy sticks. Sorry you are in limbo.

@JennyG: no wait, but my chemical was at 3+6, so AF actually arrived on time. O'd on time this month, no problems. Other than no bfp this month either! At 5 weeks you should check in with you doctor just to be safe.

@mrsjyw: Thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear we'll be able to keep TTC without having to wait. Time seems to creep by when TTC.

@mrsjyw: If that is how its going to go, I just wish I would start bleeding and get it on with.

@Mrs.Pinecone316: AF was due last week. That's kinda how I knew something was up. By now, the line shouldn't be barely visible.

@Mrs. Microscope: Did you get back at TTC right away? I really don't want to have to wait, but I've seen some things online that say I should wait for the next cycle.

I did talk to a coworker's friend who's a PA at an OBGYN practice. She said it sounds like a chemical, and I should get my period this weekend. If not, I have my appointment on Thursday to hopefully get answers if I need still need them.

Thanks for all the answers and support.

Wishing you the best. I had a chemical last month, with 2 days of positive hpts. The second day was a super squinter after the first beautiful test the day before, so sadly I wasnt caught totally off guard when AF arrived right on schedule. Keep us updated!

It does sound like the way a lot of chemicals go but only time will really tell. When are you due for AF to show up? If your late I would test again in a few days. Hoping for the best for you!

This happened to me and unfortunately it ended in CP very early on at 4 weeks.

I had a positive on FRER, digital, wondfo 12dpo... at 16dpo digital turned negative and line on FRER was super faint. I started bleeding the next day.

FX for you. Hugs.

@simplyfelicity: I would feel better if I got the bloodwork done. Maybe I should call and be more insistent with my doctor's office. I'm so terrible at that.

This is how my chemical started-- I had positives for a couple days (including a digital), decided to POAS randomly a few days later and it was much lighter. Then, I took a digital the next morning, it said negative and I started bleeding that day.
I really hope this isn't the case for you. Would you feel better if you had betas drawn?
So sorry you are going through this...I truly hope there is a happy ending. :goodluck:

@BandDmommy: Yeah, they are all FRER. I'm only looking at the FMU ones. The first one I took happened to be in the afternoon on Sunday, but I haven't really counted that one. The one I took this morning was a shadow of a line.

@JennyG: so, all the tests are FRER with same concentration? Ex: all FMU? How many days? It takes awhile (more than 1 day) for the tests to get darker.

Even if the line is faint, you are pregnant. What type of tests are you using? First response early result tests are usually good at getting darker if the pregnancy is sticking. If the lines are getting lighter it's possible you are having a chemical pregnancy (early miscarriage). Good luck!!

I totally agree with @blackbird: ... If you're seeing a line, it's not negative. Definitely call your doc to do the 2 HCG tests. Good luck!!

It's not really negative if you see a line, though.

and just b/c the line gets lighter doesn't mean that means less HCG in your system. You'll have to ask for a blood test

So, I tested on Sunday and got a faint BFP. I wasn't really sure of my O date, so I thought it might just be early. I went a little POAS crazy Monday, but they were definitely getting lighter. I took the advice of some on the POAS board and stepped away from the pee sticks. But I mean, come on, I'm human. So I took one today, and its barely a squinter. Barely.

I've been having cramps for the last two days, but zero bleeding. I called my OBGYN and they won't see me until NEXT Thursday unless I just want to come in and take a pregnancy test, which I don't see much of the point of.

Anyone have any insight? I realize that it's unlikely that this will result in me being pregnant, but this whole limbo-type thinking is making me absolutely crazy.
