I'm pretty much in the same situation. I'm down 20lbs my pre-baby weight and my stomach is all flab. (But I'm only 6 months PP) I think a combo of diet + excercise to target that area might help. Way to go on the weightloss

@rachiecakes: oh I totally get it... same with Miranda Kerr, 3 months pp she was doing a bikini photoshoot and didn't even looked like she had a kid. I have no idea how they do that.

I'm 9 months pp and my stomach is still flabby too... I need to loose more weight though. I did lose all the baby weight, but still want to lose another 20 lbs.

By the way your weight loss is fantastic! One thing that keeps me going when I start to get down on myself about my body is that at least I know I'm healthy. I lost the baby weight and eat fairly healthy and that's what is most important.

@Sugar.Biscuit: wow! Incredible story, you look amazing!

I agree it does take time - as I watch Adriana Lima walk down the catwalk 8 weeks postpartum - I was pretty upset that after gaining 50+ lbs with pregnancy and breastfeeding like a maniac I didn't bounce right back. It took a good 9 months postpartum to start to feel normal and I couldn't lose last bit until DS started eating solids.

I wanted to share my story. I'm 5'4 and use to weight 300 pounds & lost over 150 over 3 years. I have the saggy stomach even after gaining 60 pounds back. I attached some photos for you to give you some inspiration and hope.

1) it does get better
2) creams really don't do anything
3) work your core!

As you can tell by my pictures everything tightened up the more I worked out (i was doing insane bootcamps twice a day 7 days a week, don't recommend that lol) Or maybe it's because there was just less body mass that it just seemed that way. Either way I'd rather have my skinny flabby tummy then my old 300 pound tummy. Don't know if that helped you or not bit there ya go lol

Nice weight loss!!

I'm almost 6 months pp and I have a little sag in my lower belly. It's not horrible but it's definitely something new that I'm not sure will ever go away. I can only think that cardio + water would help it.

After 2 kids, I think my belly is permanently saggy. After the first, it wasn't too bad, and I worked hard and got in even better shape than pre-pregnancy (but the pooch was still tiny bit noticeable). Now, I'm not sure I will ever truly lose the extra skin without a tummy tuck! I think it depends on your skin elasticity, and maybe your age/metabolism.

Congrats on your achievement!!

My belly was really saggy in the beginning, but now its quite taut and firm again. I dont know if mederma helped me or if its just my metabolism

That's an amazing accomplishment!!

I agree w/ @Minnie_Girl - watching what you eat, drinking LOTS of water and building muscle will help to get that nice and tight. Granted, I've lost the 37 lbs I gained w/ DD through diet and exercise, but my stomach is still a little flabby.

So I lost 55 pounds this year. (20lbs of lingering baby weight, and then some). DS is 20 months old and I'm down about 35 pounds below my pre-pregnancy weight. I feel great about my body except for my stomach. I run a lot, but that's really my only exercise right now. My stomach is really loose and saggy.

Will doing core work make it better? I was hoping it would be better with the weight loss, but my stomach is just smaller. Is it possible to make it less loose and saggy if I focus on core work and toning up? Is it just a battle scar from pregnancy?
