I had it for at least 6 months pp with both my csections. Totally normal, though not fun.

I still get it occasionally almost 3 years after my c section :bummed: I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant with number 2 and the area has become more sensitive and irritated. But I don't think my situation is the norm...I'm just one of the unlucky few that has to deal with it for a long time!

@erinbaderin: I also had the crazy sunburned feeling. It was AWFUL. I think it lasted until around 3.5 months? (my LO is 5 months now) I still don't have any feeling on a significant portion of my belly, but at least that burned feeling is gone.

Yeah, me too. For a long time (months) even when the pain from pressure went away the skin hurt, almost like a sunburn.

@Mrs. Marshmallow: yup.. I had that until about 6 maybe 8 months PP. I was told it's your nerves reconnecting etc. I had a hard time lying on my stomach for yoga etc.

Does anyone remember their tummy area being sore for awhile? I'm still pretty sore and tender to touch (not the incision) and I'm not sure if this is normal or something I should talk to my doctor about about. I'm not sore when I am doing normal activities but this pain is only when I put pressure on my belly (above incision and below belly button).

I'm 11 weeks pp today.
