Update: I had a total of 2 weeks of bleeding this time (after I started passing dark clots 3 days post-D+C...). I wound up taking a lot of ibuprofen for cramping those first few days. My OB follow-up is tomorrow. Onward and upward, I suppose!

I haven't passed any clots - which I'm hoping is because the OB said he did a thorough job in terms of the curettage. But the bleeding is just on and off constantly.

My cervix feels REALLY low. Like, lower than I've ever felt before during TTC all these years, and even after childbirth. Is that weird?

@jaguar: @FliegepilzHut: @mrs bunchy: My OB said to wait a week but I am still bleeding. Have any of you been passing large clots? It's really weird. I also have a heaviness in my uterus, too, and wake up feeling like I have done a million crunches (yeah, no...)

So, I have a thought...we all seem to be finding each other on the boards in various posts and was thinking we could make a post of our own to support each other, ask questions, rant etc. What do y'all think?

@jaguar: Your current experience sounds very normal to me. :goodluck: I had the faintest pink spotting yesterday, mild cramping, and a better night, taking ibuprofen 3 times a day and using a heating pad. Right now, I just feel sore...and I'm worried that this cramping means that there are things that should be being expelled, but aren't. :bummed:

ETA: Online it says bleeding may only last a couple of days...but most women I've heard say their bleeding lasted at least 2-3 weeks.

I'm now nearly 6days past the d&c and still bleeding, and a bit of a heaviness in my uterus, but cramping a bit better. I just want the bleeding to stop. It dies down, goes brown, then I feel a gush and it's red again. Like a never ending period right now.

Did anyone get info on when you can take a bath? I just want a hot, hot, soak.

@FliegepilzHut: yeah it was at the beginning of July. Insurance doesn't cover an RPL panel, and my doc thinks I just got unlucky twice or that it was a progesterone issue. I'm trying to decide if I should take clomid or just suppositories.

@mrs bunchy: I am so sorry but it seems like you are on a path for answers.

I don't have much of a story. I started TTC in April, got a BFP which ended in a CP (it was so early that my period was only one day late) had a wonky cycle in May, got pregnant again in June and found out it was a blighted ovum at 10 weeks and just had my D&C on Monday. My OB thinks it's just a fluke. I haven't been on this journey long but it's been a pretty discouraging one so far. I know mine pales in comparison to some but it still sucks.

I also had my second one and I felt so much worse than my first. It could be because I was further along. All night long I had this intense burning in my abdomen. I actually googled internal bleeding. Sometime I fell asleep and when I woke for the day it was gone. I actually think it was gas and gi upset from some of the anesthesia. They didn't give me as many drugs during the first.

@simplyfelicity: yes- my RE did a blood clotting panel and chromosome testing on me and chromosome testing on DH. Until this point- he already had a semen analysis which was normal, and I was previously on 7 months of clomid (before my 2nd m/c). When I switched to the RE- he did an HSG and I got pregnant that month- queue this 3rd m/c. He is concerned about my heart shaped uterus ... Questioning now if there is a septum that is causing me to miscarry. I have to wait until I heal from d&c before I can do this hysteroscopy to find out for sure.
