Hmmm. I would maybe sterilize pump parts in the evening and wash bras in hot, hot water with a vinegar rinse (just pour white vinegar in the fabric softener spot) to be careful. Thrush really stinks to get so if it isn't too much hassle I would take these preventative steps.

I got mastitis a month ago and took antibiotics for 10 days. Despite taking lots of probiotics I felt like I was getting a yeast infection the last few days so I got some diflucan last night (I have had bad reactions to the over the counter treatments).

My concern is thrush. The doctor on the phone appointment didn't seem to knowledgeable about nursing/thrush beyond making sure it was safe to take diflucan.

Do I need to start treatment for thrush because I have what I think is a yeast infection? Or do I assume all is well at this point if my nipples and LO are asymptomatic?

ETA: I'm WOH and pumping if that makes a difference in what I need to do.
