I don't think it would hurt to call. Did you have a follow up appointment? My HCG took about 4 weeks to go below 5 (after a d&e though) and I spotted until AF came again. I'm so sorry for your loss.

If it's just spotting, I wouldn't worry too much.

I'd call if you start cramping, bleed heavily, or spot for more than a month (that's my plan at least. Still have brown mucous close to a month post D&C)

I would probably call the OB just to be safe. I'm sorry that this is happening, but I'm glad to hear your tests are fading/starting to go negative. I hadn't been testing that much but I got a legit negative finally on Tuesday I think? Wall me if you want to vent!

@MrsKoala: I just retested and while it wasn't a long hold it came up negative (woohoo!) I have tested every 4-5 days and it's definitely fading which I realize isn't perfect but I am so over all of this! I do appreciate the input, I really wish I just had a magic wand (or you know, a baby in my uterus...)

It might be a good idea to call and get an HCG test just to see that it is going down. My OB/MW asked me to do that when I had my MC and that way they knew that I didn't retain any tissue since I no longer had HCG in my body.

I miscarried naturally two weeks ago, bleeding stopped about five days later. I feel fine but started spotting again yesterday, mostly dark but some red. No cramps etc. As of Monday I still had a faint positive on a wondfo. Can I ignore this or should I call/go in? (It was a blighted ovum, it passed just before 9 weeks, tissue in 2 pieces.)
