Keep an eye out for signs and symptoms of postpartum hemorrhage like soaking more than a pad an hour or passing 2 or more loonie sized clots in 24 hours. It’s definitely not too late for a PPH!! I would say it’s still PP bleeding but if you’re not BFing maybe it’s your period already.. hard to tell. Did you do a lot of activity? So I would say it is very possible that this is a period even though yours is a little earlier than mine. The past 3 or 4 days I have had no postpartum bleeding and really the entire week before it was super light. Now today all of a sudden I am bleeding very heavily like a period and (TMI) it is dark red/brown. Could this be my period this soon after giving birth? Or if not, something serious? I think my period came back at 5/6 weeks with my first which is why I am surprised if that is what this is. Also, I am not breastfeeding and I don't have any cramps or anything currently. </p>
