I ended up with granulated scar tissue that I had removed. I was told to avoid sex for two more weeks while it healed. After that, I had no problems.

@Ms. RV: Thank you. Coconut oil for every day? Or just for sex?

DD is almost a year and I still get pain (I had a 2nd degree tear). My OB says that it is a result of dryness. I was really skeptical and thought I had scar tissue but if I use a little coconut oil I feel like a new person.

6 weeks is like "hi. I'm not dead". Both pregnancies it took closer to 2-3 months before I felt like things were normal again. No pains. No bleeding, etc.

It took a while for my scar tissue to soften up, but it did without doing anything special. But if it's bugging you, get it looked at.

I had something that I would describe similarly. When I walked much, espcially wearing LO I felt bad down there. Same thing if I sat too long (BFing). In my case it was scar tissue that built up on the outside. I had it removed at the OB's office.

Are there any "normal" postpartum pains? or if things are still feeling funky after the 6 week postpartum checkup, go back to OB?

I feel like I just can't exert myself the way I used to or I get this funny sensation in the area where my stitches were. Anyone else have something like this? When did it go away? Did it go away?
