Yoga pants definitely looked best on me pp. Not really work appropriate though. And I totally wore some of my maternity pants a good four months after my son was born. They fit better than other pants and I am 95% sure no one could tell they were maternity.

I'm 2 and a half weeks post partum, and totally sick of my maternity clothes! I attempted to buy shorts/pants the other day, and hated everything I tried on! I ended up buying a few maxi skirts from the gap instead. The maxi skirts were flattering at least!

I feel your pain. I have the same issue. I'm still wearing some of my maternity pants (3.5 months pp) my pre pregnant jeans just got to the point I can get them past my thighs. So I'm confident in a month( hopefully less) ill be able to pack up and say goodbye to my maternity pants.

I say wear your maternity pants as long as you need. Wait to get new ones when you're happy with the way they look and make you feel. You'll get there!

My body has decided to hold onto those 5-10 breast feeding pounds as saddlebags on my thighs. I'm ok with that, I'm eating healthy, exercising and trust that my body needs those extra pounds as a safety cushion for LO right now. But I'd like to buy some real pants and I can't find any that are remotely flattering. I've tried on 40 or so pants in the last two days but nothing looks better than my maternity pants (not a high bar here). I showed DH my top contenders and he agreed.

Do you have any suggestions for an a lady with ample thighs? Or strategies for shopping? How long is it socially acceptable to wear maternity pants?
