They weren't graded the best and I was feeling very down about them in general. But one of them took and baby girl is due at the end of the month! On Saturday morning we had our first IVF transfer using a donor egg. Our donor was only 25 , I am 41 and we determined that my eggs are poor quality so we moved to this option. Anyway.... my question is this, I don't understand the embryo grading and ours was only graded a "C". I told my dr that our kids get in trouble for C's, so I am not encouraged. We transferred 2 5 day embryos and she said there is a 55-60% chance of pregnancy and a 20% chance of twins, BUT... considering I have had a negative test monthly for the last 3 years, I am scared to death! Are there any encouraging words anyone can offer? Success stories?
