I moved jobs after my son was born to have a better work/life balance. I used to travel weeks at a time and worked super long hours (I worked for a major bank) and I knew I couldn't hold onto this type of lifestyle while being a mom. I have a much better work/life balance now too and I love it. My husband is trying to find better W/L balance but he feels that the way he contributes the most to this family is financially. I'm hoping he can find a job that doesn't require so many hours though!! Just curious... where does your user name come from?
