DS hadn't really had sweets before his birthday cake and did fine. Make sure any allergens in the cake like eggs or nuts aren't new foods though. And don't fret about last night. LO cried a couple times during the night, but then she would quickly stop after a minute or so, so I didnt go in. I went in this morning, and there was vomit in her crib.
