@Truth Bombs: not breastfeeding. I should have included that in the original post. Thanks!

My doc said if I was having anything like that after 12 weeks she wanted me to come back in, so I think you're still good for now. If you're breastfeeding you likely won't have a period for a long time. I didn't get mine back until 8months pp with my daughter. I'm almost 5months pp with my son and still no sign of it.

Since everyone was so helpful in my last post, I have another question...

I am 9 weeks from my vaginal delivery, no complication and slight tearing (2nd degree). I was bleeding for 1 week after birth (light) and every day from birth it was lighter in color and more of a clear/cloudy mucus discharge. It slowly turned into a greenish/yellow discharge. I still have this greenish/yellowish discharge. It isn't a huge amount, but enough that I still have to wear a light pad 9 weeks postpartum. Anyone else have this? When does it go away?

I haven't had a real period yet. There was 3 days where the mucus turned brownish (very light) and now is back to greenish/yellow. Maybe that was a period, but it was not accompanied by any other period symptoms, no cramps, etc...?

I saw my OB at my 6 week visit and she said I am still healing and not to worry about the mucus. I wasn't a huge fan of my OB and won't use her again. I felt she was very relaxed about everything and not proactive. For example, I started to have really bad swelling, was super uncomfortable, and had high blood pressure the last month of my pregnancy and she didn't do anything. I complained every appointment and she was very relaxed about it. If I wasn't that far in I would have changed at that point.

I guess my question is, is this mucus still at 9 weeks postpartum at all normal? Did anyone else have this and when does it go away? Would you suggest that I see another OB if it doesn't go away soon?
