@zippylef: I would just like to sit normally again, lol

I do have epsom salts, so I'll definitely use them.

@Dandelion: Do a hot bath with some epsom salts, it really helps ease muscle aches. I had the tailbone issue too. Im pretty sure my giant baby cracked mine because it took months to heal.

I had lots of different temporary ailments. It seemed as if one gets better and a new one arises. For me it helped to just stay moving and lots of stretching. Your body goes through a lot and it needs to get re-aligned so to speak. I hope you feel better soon :)

@zippylef: Yeah, I did...but I remember having these spasms at the end of the pregnancy, too, so I didn't think much of the epidural.

A hot bath sounds nice. I might do that tonight.

I had them for a couple of months, generally in the same area as my epi. Did you get one? Doing gentle stretches and taking hot baths helped.

@meredithNYC: I've been living on ibuprofen for my epi and tailbone anyways, but have been weaning off of it, since I'm slowly feeling better. Maybe that's why they've started to spring up? Glad I got plenty of ibuprofen. I'll ask the dr about it at my pp check up next week.

I had them for a long time. LO is 10 months old now and I want to say they only went away about a month or two ago? In retrospect I really should have gone to the doctor! I still do have the occasional back pain, too, which I always assumed was from the epidural, but who knows. Most days I would just go on about things even though it hurt, but on bad days I would just take a Tylenol or Advil for pain relief.

Four weeks postpartum, and a new issue has cropped up. I'm getting back spasms. They start at my lower back and go right up my spine. I remember having them a lot towards the end of my pregnancy, but I thought they were contraction related. Now I realize that they are their own monster.

Have any of you had something similar? Did it go away? What helped?
