@lolabee: @Weagle: Yeah. The back labor (24+ hours) on top of no belly weight on top of deconditioned core = unbelievably sore back!

@MsLipGloss: Same here. I feel like it took a week or two for me to be able to stand up straight. I guess I had just been using my belly as a balance weight to keep from toppling over.

I had some serious abdominal separation and it was sore for a while PP. It felt really weak and hurt to sit up from laying. It did eventually heal 100% by 9 months PP.

Mine was a bit tender too. I wore the bamboo belly bandit and found it helped a lot for that and gave some extra back support. My back KILLED after the epidural and gazillion hours of back labour. Feel better!!

I gave birth 18 days ago and my.tummy feels tender too. I was excited that I could finally receive a "real" backrub ans not.have to lay on my side, but it hurt to lay on belly :-( my sister swears by her girdle. I'm too cheap for extra purchases so if feeling especially tender I use my maternity belt!

I had an emergency c section and found that pressure on my stomach helped tremendously. There was one spot that pulled, and it was horribly painful until I started wearing a shaper. It was almost instant relief once I kept pressure on it.

So, mine wasn't really because of lack of support, but still..I looved that shaper for how it helped!

Mine was really tender--it was that way during the last few weeks of pregnant though, too. I didn't do anything except for put lotion on it everyday. The skin tightened relatively quickly though.,,still loose, but definitely not the way it was in the first couple weeks PP.

It didn't feel sore. The only thing I really noticed was that my back hurt a lot more because I didn't have the same core strength I had pre-pg.

If anything, it was just jiggly. I remember thinking about how awesome it felt the moment she came out because all that pressure was finally off my stomach.

Did your postpartum belly feel sore because of being loose and wobbly? Im imagining it feeling like running down the stairs without wearing a bra and your boobs are sore because there is no support. Is that what it feels like? Did wearing a Belly Bandit, or Bellefit, help?
