Ebf doesn't always mean that your period will stay away for the entire time you are feeding, just like it can't be trusted as birth control. To me it sounds like your period. I had a csection and even when I did more activity toward the end I wouldn't bleed anymore than just a little red spotting. So I am 5 1/2 weeks out from a c section and I have started bleeding again. I have been done bleeding for two to three weeks with the exception of the occasional brownish discharge but starting yesterday I had some pinkish stuff then red and now today it is even heavier. I am also getting cramps. I have felt better the last few days so I am sure I have been slightly more active than usual but nothing crazy. I have been more active than this in the past with no effect. I am EBF so it isn't likely to be my period. This is as heavy as right after birth and it is kinda starting to worry me a bit. I'm not bleeding enough to soak a pad an hour like the doctor warned me but she also never mentioned the possibility of bleeding this heavily this long after stopping. Should I be worried or does this still sound normal? </p>
