I got my first back at 2 mo, and had 2 more at about 40 days each, but started the mini-pill at 5 months and haven't had one since. (7-1/2 months pp now). I've taken 4 pregnancy tests total just to be sure in that time! I'm bf'ing as well.

They'll tell you it's pretty normal post-partum, especially when breastfeeding. Have you taken a pregnancy test? :D

It can take a little while for your cycle to get back to normal. I had an anovulatory cycle after my first PP cycle, and then a couple of longer-than-normal cycles, before my cycle regulated itself. During that time I got in the habit of taking a pregnancy test every 2 weeks just to be safe.

@autumnleaves: this is my issue too, I was regular previously and even through those 3 cycles so I wonder if I should call my doctor just in case.

I am going through something similar. I got my period back at 9MO PP and now at 10.5 months I haven't gotten it again. I keep testing and getting negatives but am wondering what is going on because I always had regular cycles before pregnancy.

I wasn't sure where to put this so, please move if it would fit somewhere else better.

I'm 5 months PP and I've had 3 cycles. I had my first around 2 months PP but wasn't sure it was my period until 28-30 (wasn't tracking too closely) days later I had another period and 28 days later I had my next period. I'm now on CD 41 with no period in sight. I've taken a test every few days just to make sure and they have all been negative. I am breastfeeding but I figured since I have had three regular periods, it didn't mean much, but now I'm not sure.I'm just wondering if this is normal PP cycle stuff or if I should call my doctor?
